Provides support for various Association classes and special events, including speakers at new member orientation. Must be a LASAOR affiliate in good standing to participate.
Members must be a REALTOR® and in good standing with LASAOR. The function of this committee is to review the finances of the Association, including annual budgets and investments, and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors for action.
The Commercial Alliance’s mission statement is “let the lighthouse be your beacon to making money in Commercial Real Estate.” Commercial Alliance was formed for residential REALTORS®, to learn, earn and educate themselves in entry-level Commercial Real Estate through professional development and mentorship.
The primary role of the DE&I/Fair Housing committee is to engage members to promote unity, equity, diversity and inclusion in the real estate profession and to connect our local DE&I/Fair Housing activities to the broader results-oriented Fair Housing goals and objectives identified at the state and national level.
The Education Committee is tasked with identifying current real estate trends and bringing training on those topics to our members. The committee establishes a calendar of education and professional development seminars on a wide array of business topics according to the needs and wants of our membership.
Standing committee of the Association; members must be a LASAOR REALTOR® in good standing; The Grievance Committee oversees all complaints sent to the association about REALTORS® and is charged with upholding the REALTOR® Code of Ethics in all matters brought before the board. The Multicultural Real Estate Alliance was formed in 1992, after the Los Angeles Riots. The California Association of REALTORS® was instrumental in its formation and structure. The Alliance was formed of real estate professionals and related affiliates in the industry.
The mission of the alliance is:
- To provide information to the members that would allow them to affect a change in the community conditions and stamp out redlining practices.
- To increase and maintain homeownership opportunities through education and literacy programs.
- To stabilize and rejuvenate the community.
- To prevent and call out predatory lending practices.
- To reduce foreclosures, evictions, and delinquencies to stabilize the community.
Alliance members are advocates for the consumers we serve.
The PPAC is a Discretionary Committee of LASAOR Past Presidents appointed by the President, subject to confirmation by the Board of Directors, to provide continuity and support according to priorities and initiatives set by the Board of Directors in the Strategic Plan.
Standing committee of the Association; members must be a LASAOR REALTOR® in good standing; members must have at least two years minimum of service on the Grievance Committee with either a Broker or Salesperson license; Function of the committee is to conduct disciplinary and arbitration hearings. In order to be considered for an appointment to the Professional Standards Committee, REALTORS® must attend a special all-day training course.
The Program and Speakers Bureau Chairman secures top company executives, social media and marketing experts, industry leaders, and innovators to speak at our monthly networking breakfast meetings.
YPN is a network of energetic, early-career professionals (of all ages) dedicated to the growth, success, and service in the real estate industry. YPN members must be a LASAOR REALTOR® or Affiliate in good standing.
